SWMC Landfill Closure Notice

The Solid Waste Management Corporation wishes to advise the public that the Conaree Landfill is CLOSED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT due to a recent fire at the facility. Smoke conditions at the site have necessitated this temporary closure for public safety. Regular operations are expected to resume on Monday, 27th April 2026 at 6:00 AM.We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
